  3. Subsidies for steel mills is stupid, it's corporate welfare for bunch of billionaires. I had a grandfather who retired from a steel mill, he was making over $175 an hour and they weren't even unionized. Don't get me wrong a majority of steel mills in the United States are unionized.

  4. vual grimoire Tariffs and quotas are not the same thing. A quota limits you to a certain number, a tariff is a fucking tax.

  5. vual grimoire the Chinese are not going to put quotas on themselves. China has the leverage in these negotiations a trade war with China is suicide for the economy. The expense of a tariff or tax will only be passed on to the consumer.

  6. Jo Pao Tariffs on solar panels isn't even in the same league with tariffs on steel and aluminum. Most people can go their in entire lives without having to deal with a solar panel but people cannot go a single hour without dealing with something made of aluminum or Steel.
