  2. No, it's called a "commodity". The more available material on the market drives down the price. This is Keynesian economics, the fundamental principle of supply and demand. If China wants to subsidize their Steel industry and drive down the price of Steel and Alimunum worldwide, I say let them. 70% of the Steel and Aluminum used in the U.S. is mined, recycled, smelted, used, and reused here.
