  1. For people who don't know, Chinese engineered and manufactured vehicles cannot pass highway safety tests in the United States. This is why China has never tried to sell a vehicle in the United States. Keep in mind, Volvo is still engineered in Sweden. So these tariffs are basically Overkill. These vehicles never would have been sold in the United States to begin with.
