  1. Imagine you go there at 11 PM, plug in to the charger, then get in your EV and doze off while the battery is charging. Fast forward you awaken to the sound of popping, followed by smoke entering the car. You realize what is happening and open the door...but the door won't open because the computers detected a fire and shut down all systems as a precaution. We all know how quickly these EV fires spread. You really only have seconds to get out of the car before it is engulfed in flames. The odds of this happening are not zero.
