  1. ​ @zarach9459 I am a childfree, single by choice Italian woman. Your friend's lifestyle IS abnormal here. No young woman in her right mind would have so many children and so young. Youth is for studying, travelling, partying, dating etc. People should not get married and have children before their 30's, it's insane, they are just kids ffs. And 4 kids is unheard of in Italy, especially in the North. My mother had 1 sibling only and she is 74. She had 2 kids, and both my sister and I are childfree. Italian women are mostly educated, and we understood generations ago that we have nothing to gain from marriage and children. Yeah, we do not get married anymore either. Its all a scam.

  2.  @zarach9459  I personally do not believe a woman who is really free to make her own choices will ever have that many children. To me, she is a victim of propaganda, either religious or social pressure. Educated, non religious women with free access to sex ed, birth control and abortion NEVER have that many kids. We KNOW pregnancy and childbirth is VERY bad for women. And why have kids at all? It doesnt make sense. It is very cruel and selfish.
