@danw.7935 most European countries have a proportion system or hybrid system. Every party who gets a decent proportion (in Italy it is 3%) of votes get a certain number of parliament members. If a party gets a vast majority of votes, in some systems they get a "bonus".

@grantmarcus5675 and probably half of those parties do not exist anymore. Italian voters are so confused that only 60% voted in recent elections 😞
