I can't believe some Americans still think Musk's goal in life is to "save the human race" 😂 Musk popularity dramatically dropped in Europe after the infamous "roman salute", and Tesla sales too. JD Vance was met with silence and angry faces after his "speech" in Munich (no one applauded but his staff of 2 people). The American defence minister was drinking alcohol during a press conference (scotch, it seems), and looked like he was there by mistake. He was very nervous, sweating, shaking and talking nonsense. Canada said they much rather become a member of the EU than the 51rst American State. Guys, your government is a pariah State rn. Your only friend is the other pariah State. Both ruled by criminals. This is not going to end well 😢

  33.  @dave-do3hs  that's awesome!! My father got into politics in the 60s. My parents took my sister and I when we were children to every protest they went to: against wars, pro-environment, pro- workers rights, antifa, etc. So we both became involved in politics very young. We went to highschool in late 80s/ early 90s, which was an awesome period for students. See "movimento della pantera". We (students) used to occupy our schools for weeks, even months sometimes, back then. And decide our own curriculum. So we studied and debated issues that were mostly ignored by the mainstream, because they were too "radical" or "controversial". I have never stopped being into politics and activism since then.

They banned IVF, they are putting pro-birth propaganda in abortion clinics, they are at war with lgbt families, they are about to make surrogacy a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY, the censorship is thru the roof, the police is VERY brutal. Italy is in a very dark place atm.

  38. ​​​ @RJ_Focused  philosophy is the most important subject we study in European highschools. Philosophy teaches critical thinking. American students do not study philosophy in highschool, and that's one reason why alot of Americans lack critical thinking. And end up in cults, like Scientology, Evangelical Christianity and MAGA 😂 Edit: I forgot the mormons and the amish.

  47.  @franziskamalsy961  I think your children are making the right choice. In Italy we have some of the lowest birthrates in the world. They have been trying natalist policies for decades, but nothing works. They do not understand it is not a question of money. It's just that this world sucks.

  49.  @darthmaul8912  I agree. Italy, Germany, the UK that I know of. Plus see wtf is going on Romania, Georgia, Serbia, and of course Ukraine (pre Russian invasion). One thing that was and still is repressed in most of Europe is the pro-Palestine movement. Another one is the repression of the indipendent press. In Italy we call the media "TeleMeloni" now, because she took control of public media and most of private media too. The Russophobia in Europe has reached insanity levels, with censorship of all Russian culture (opera, ballet, literature..). Journalists have never been under attack like this before. Even Swizerland recently arrested a Palestinian-American journalist ffs. Immigrants and the LGBT+ community are most at risk, but I am sure they will go after women's rights next, the disabled, and finally everyone who is not "white", hetero, "christian", and cis male. Possibly wealthy. Oh and I forgot climate activists. Meloni is specifically targeting them for some reason. The USA is gone, but I fear for the EU too. Good luck everybody!
