Europe is much less religious than the USA, and we have much less violent crimes.

All studies prove that single, childfree women are the happiest demographic of all. They ALWAYS lie about us "cat ladies" being "miserable" 😂 No JD, we are not miserable, you are projecting YOUR misery into us 😂 Edit: I am European, single, childfree and almost 50. I would NEVER trade my life with a married woman/ mother.

We do not have that hate towards women here in Europe. Even many far-right leaders are women. In Italy, both our PM and the leader of the opposition are women. So is the EU leader. The USA was always backwards and keeps on being backwards.

Billionaires should NOT exist. The richest people on the planet rn are mostly American, either by birth or immigration (Musk). Not European. To get THAT rich you obviously have to do many immoral and illegal things. In Europe there are rules that corporations have to follow, rules that protect workers, consumers, the environment etc. We are still very far from economic equality in Europe, but most European countries are much LESS unequal than the USA. So... the American system is broken. You need to make big changes. You need to redistribute wealth from the rich to the poor. Again, a fair system should produce no billionaires. No human can be allowed to have that much money and power. I really can not wrap my head around the fact that many working-class people voted for a bunch of billionaires. Especially while they say that they hate the elites. Who do they think these "elites" are, if not Trump and his billionaires?? It makes my head hurt. It is f insane.

I hope my fellow Europeans have a good memory. It didnt end well last time.

Do you hate smart, competent, beautiful women in general, or only this one?
6
What is "meaningful" to YOU means nothing to me. To me, human development, education, progress, free time to dedicate to philosophy, arts, literature, protect the environment and animals, fight inequalilities etc is much more meaningful than being a wage slave or breeding for the oligarchs.

I celebrate with my cat, my friends, my parents, and especially MYSELF.

Europe is far less religious and has far less violent crimes.

I do not want nor need neither a husband nor children nor a "career". I want to enjoy my life. Since I am European and not American, I can do exactly that 😂 YOU can be a slave to cap1talism if you want, us Europeans will continue to fight for happiness, health, education and human development. Life is made to enjoy it, not to serve the oligarchs 😂

Respect from an Italian childfree woman!

Maternal and infant mortality in the USA is SHOCKING compared to European countries. And having to PAY the hospital for giving birth is absolutely nonsense over here. I do not understand why Americans accept these things like they are "normal". They are absolutely NOT normal, especially in developed countries.

I am European, we have a much lower birthrate here than the USA. But we'll be fine with immigration and robots/AI. The thing is, these white men want WHITE children. It's all about racism. They are having plenty of babies in Africa, but those are not the kind of babies they want.
4
Italy and South Korea have much lower birthrates than the USA, but at least here in Italy no one is talking about FORCING women to have children. They are trying different methods, like free childcare, a monthly wage for people with small kids who want to be stay-at-home parents, longer maternal and paternal paid leaves, etc. Still not working 😂 but maybe it takes time. We do care about the environment and climate change alot over here thou.

@gaelle4328 In Italian schools "religion hour" (an hour a week) is available but not compulsory. Has not been since the 80s. Most Italians are NOT religious. I am pretty sure most Western Europe is even less. I spent a year in the USA as an exchange student. The USA is much more religious. All that "in god we trust" stuff. Swearing on the bible. Crazy stuff.

I am sorry, do Americans study their Constitution in highschool? Civic education and law were required here in Italy when I went to highschool. We did not study the bible. We all had a copy of the Constitution.

In Europe we are shocked to see the USA repeting our mistakes, from religion to fascism to war etc. Do you not study your ancestors' history at all in school?? Not like you guys study Native Americans' history...
2
@i.ehrenfest349 I know. But they do not study History in the USA as much as we do unfortunately. So they are making the same mistakes.
2
@apatheticeye6955 I was an exchange student in the USA in 1992. Your education system is terrible.

@jasonwiedeman4825 👏 👏 👏

We have the fascism in Europe rn, but the religious side is 100% American 😂 lunatics. Meloni said she's "christian" once and it went viral because it was so strange for an Italian PM to bring religion into politics. Of course the Vatican is well into politics, but it has little to do with Jesus or gods. I swear a big number of Americans are so... naive?? Nobody in Italy trusts politicians, we know most of them are mafia, no Italian would think one of them is sent by a god lol
2
I actually thought the preachers were doing the fascist/ nazist salute 😂

Immagine abortion still being a political issue in the USA in 2024. In Italy we kinda solved it in the 70s. It has not been a major issue since then. We have more important things to worry about.

I hope the EU bans X.

Why are my comments about Europe deleted?
1
@gaelle4328 Freedom OF religion is different from Freedom FROM religion.
1
@gaelle4328 do you think European constitutions do not have Freedom of religion??
1
@gsmith6595 I wonder what in my comments upset YT...

We have no proof Jesus existed or what he thought if he did. The bible is terrible fan fiction.

Also, Republicans talk to American people like they are talking to children. No European politician talk like that. Really show how uneducated alot of Americans are, which is really scary to us.
1
@azurekutella3812 Okay Poland is not the most feminist European country, but what do you mean by France? France is anti woman??
1
@fantym1633 I know of the trial. It's horrible, but it's just one case of crime. I am not saying Europe has reached gender equality, we are still far, but we are way better than Americans on this. Macron is super pro-choice for example.

I was born an atheist in an atheist family. If you do not force religion on children, most of people end up atheist or agnostic.
1
I am Italian, I recognize fascism unfortunately and that is exactly what these people are. But the religious side is insane. Mussolini was an atheist, and the nazis were not really into Jesus either. Of course the Vatican was heavily involved on the side of most fascist dictators, from Mussolini to Franco to nazis, but the Vatican has little to do with religion, it is a political/ mafia/ massonic lodge organization.
