In European highschools we study philosophy, law, civics etc. So I dont see why American highschools could not do the same.

@angel_existential for now! Our welfare states, public healthcare and education are under attack here in Europe too. And our much loved Green Deal. Our leaders, against the vast majority of the voters, want to increase military spending, and guess where they are going to take the money from... 😞 I am almost 50 and childfree, but I am worried about the future for young people.

@beastshawnee in Europe we are supposed to have data protection, unlike in the USA. But I do not trust social media, so I stopped using them years ago. I only use youtube. Now that Musk has access to all that American data I think people should be very careful in using American social media. I think us Europeans should make our own social media with our own rules. It is obvious this American government is not our friend.

@angel_existential Musk, Trump and their friends are messing with European politics too. I am Italian, and our PM Meloni is EXTREMELY close to Musk and Trump. Her government has already done alot of damage. I do not know if our system is capable of surviving these traitors. They want to change our beautiful Constitution. It would be VERY hard to do, but who knows what their plans are. Good luck to all of us!

@ChrisHarding-lk3jj I did not speak English either when I went to the USA as an exchange student in 1992. After a month, I spoke perfect English and I was the best student in English literature class. I understood Shakespeare better than the locals 😂 American schools SUCK.
