@behemoththekitty Believe me, everybody in Italy knows we have been an American colony since post WWII. We were also one of the main battle fields during the Cold War. We have not forgotten nor forgiven CIA/ the USA for decades of terrorism, assassinations, propaganda etc. Sicily (mafia) would be happy to become an American state 😂 But I am from the North, we feel closer to Russia (and Germany).

 @paladro I only know the horrors the USA has done in Italy. Russia never did anything to Italy. We have a good relationship with Russia both on the left and on the right.

@victorbernard1256 Us Europeans have a very different version of that story 😂 the USA turned most European countries into their colonies. I went to dozens of protests against American bases in Italy in my youth. Believe me, we did not want them. Our politicians went against American "orders" in foreign politics every time they could. We paid for that Marshall Plan decades ago. We owe the USA nothing today. We will only gain if the USA pack their bags and go home 😂

@victorbernard1256 I was an exchange student in the USA in 1992. American highschools are of bad quality compared to Europe. And American propaganda is no better than Russian. Americans think they "saved" Europe from the Nazis. We learn that mostly Europe saved herself, thanks to the Resistance movements in Italy, France, East Europe etc. Americans, you are not the hero in our story. Only in yours.
