  1. Really? I saw a news story about an Asian attack in the New York subway and the victim said, "The people nearby didn't even look at me while I was being attacked." And in the same news story, an Asian woman was attacked in New York City and even the security guards nearby abandoned her. Have you never heard of Murder of Kitty Genovese? It happened in the U.S., a woman was attacked by a man in the middle of the night, and 38 residents of a nearby apartment building saw it and heard her screams, but no one helped her or even called the police. Eventually, the police came a few hours later, but she was killed. Residents said they didn't help her because they thought someone else would.
