  1. I don't think it's just a Japanese problem that it's hard to get a job because you're a foreigner. A friend of mine studied in the US for 7 years and got a master's degree from an Ivy League school, but he couldn't get a job anywhere and went back to his home country. For example, if there were a foreigner and a Japanese with the same abilities, most companies would give priority to hiring the Japanese. Well, it's not so much about discrimination as it is about the company's own benefit.
