  2. In my experience, about half of the Japanese who have tattoos are yakuza or 半グレ, 30% are drug addicts, and the rest are tattooed for fashion. Just go to the beach. I frequently see Japanese with tattoos causing trouble. In other words, most Japanese people with tattoos are abnormal people. No wonder Japanese people are prejudiced against tattoos. If 99% of Japanese people with tattoos were sane, no one would discriminate against them.
