  1. Spot on. I’m in the UK. Scotland. Old enough to recall as a child every winter with lying snow for weeks on end. In last 25 years I can count about 2 such winters. In other words, even without the stats, those of us old enough to know, know, just anecdotally. This issue has been, like most issues, toxically politicised.👍

  2.  @BrownDaddy007  I beg to differ with your notion that Scottish winters haven’t got warmer. I’m also a 70s child, also from Edinburgh, and have been fascinated with the weather since I was about 7. So much so, I have logged my hometown temperature (among others, for comparison) since I was about 14. I average out each month. The average daily high for every single month of the year from 1980-2023 shows a steady increase when the years are compared month to month. So much so, that the average Edinburgh winter is now a good 1.5-2°C warmer in the 2020s than it was in 1980. So, it’s not just my anecdotal memories here, but raw data to back up the memories. The data suggests these are not false memories. You picked the wrong dude here, fella. Nice try, though.👍

  7.  @BrownDaddy007  I’m perfectly satisfied with my data + my own anecdotal experience to confirm that Edinburgh in the 2020s is about 1.5-2°C warmer than back in the 1970s. Again, nice try. Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t necessarily buy the idea that we humans are 100% responsible for this warming (it could be 5%, or 25% or 75%) … but what I do 100% buy, is that the planet is warming. Hope the malamute is behaving itself! 👍✌️😊
