I’ve always found it interesting when Brits who consider themselves ‘indigenous’ to these islands and more entitled thereby compared to other less-entitled, ‘non-indigenous’ folk, suddenly go silent when America is mentioned, or Australia, or New Zealand; for by their logic no-one who arrived post 1620 into America, no-one who arrived after 1606 in Australia and no-one who arrived in New Zealand after 1642 has more entitlement than the ‘indigenous’ Aborigines. No, somehow it’s ok that European settlers moved to these places and brutally subjugated those already settled there, but when non-Europeans arrive in Europe, somehow that’s just not on. Hypocrisy and double-standards doesn’t begin to cover it.

@foryounoname8392 Well, for me, you’re British if you’re born here, or have British citizenship. Simple, really.
5
@djstona5284 Just looking at the world objectively as possible, mate. Fuck-all to do with ‘16th Century lenses’.
4
@Sundae_Times Dutch arrived in 1606, mate. You need better history books.
4
@Sundae_Times Huh? I just said it.
3
@Sundae_Times Oh, I’ve had these conversations dozens of times over the years, chummo. You can trust me on that one.😉
3
@Sundae_Times 17th Century if you want to be really accurate. You’re welcome.
3
@djstona5284 Yeah, and you think a few 21st century folk wouldn’t like to do a few dastardly things to immigrants if they could get away with it?
3
@djstona5284 Ad Hominem. Always the last resort of the defeated. 👋
3
@GroundhogRoy 1606=17th Century, Roy. You are also welcome.
3
@robertfranco2464 Usually it’s just the one with the bigger spear.
3
@Sundae_Times I was talking about when the Europeans arrived, Kermit. Read me back before stating crap I never intended. There’s a good lad.
2
@Sundae_Times My grammar is not in question; your brain may very well be, Gonzo.
2
@GroundhogRoy Yeah, but you called me out on a mistake I never made. I never made any error with my date statements so read me back properly before coming at me you inattentive numpty.
2
@yvonneplant9434 Yeah, but you are clearly a plant, so don’t count in this debate.
2
@Ian *weren’t
2
@robertfranco2464 Well, with a name like ‘Franco’ we all know where you’re coming from, mate. Say no more.😉
2
@Ian Woof!
2
@peace4peaceful Dame Edna Everage?

@holeefuk413 So, what about the millions that went in the 18th Century, 19th Century, 20th Century? You going to apply your double standards hypocrisy there, too? Get real. The West has been colonising others’ ‘indigenous’ territory since the year dot, so when a few come to play in your backyard you ain’t got a leg to stand on. You secretly know this, too, and that’s why you’re so irked.
2
@Sundae_Times Hating British people? Not I, sunshine. If you want to play the stupid, dangerous game of defining yourself on an accident of birth, go right ahead. Just count me out.
2
@Sundae_Times Yeah. But where’s your argument to defend the irrational, stupid, primitive, dangerous folly of believing in an accident of birth? No. Thought not.
2
@harry.flashman No. I like to keep my good tea.
2
Valrossa Yeah. I’m on the coffee now.
2
Valrossa None. For as we all know, no one is really ‘indigenous’ these days.😉 That’s just a word intolerant, racist fuctards wheel out when anyone they dislike, usually for random, bizarre reasons, is wheeled into their orbit? Don’t you know this by now, sweetie? Come, come, now.
2
@foryounoname8392 No.
1
@Ian Something like that, brother.👍😉
1
@harry.flashman Too right you’re not worthy. Get the fuck outta my sight, peasant!
