@joshd3502 No, the problem here is invisible sky daddies whom you believe you can act on behalf of. There’s no evidence for any God, and in my experience, it’s only weak unthinking people who lurch for an invisible sky daddy. Lurch for whatever you want; just don’t impose that delusion on others. It’s that simple.

0:26 “Boko Haram”: ie. an Islamist, jihadist organisation. The sooner this planet can live without unverified, unverifiable invisible sky daddies, the sooner we might have a little more peace.

@Nxck2440 Tbf, the Christian invisible sky daddy was a ‘psychopath’ for thousands of years. It’s (mercifully) been defanged by Reformation and the Enlightenment and all that jazz. Islam is still a benighted thing, as those who believe it, believe it, much like the Christians did way back when. It’s not tea and scones with the vicar, with a jihadist. It’s “I’m right, you’re wrong and if you don’t convert, you die.” The Christians did this for centuries. They just grew out of it. It’s all deeply primitive and unworthy of thinking human beings.
