  4. I’m just glad I was born and raised in a secular part of the world. If I lived anywhere and there was about to be the installation of an Islamist regime, I would shudder a little. It baffles me, as a post-Enlightenment European child, that we still have places where strong organised religion has so much influence in how a country is run. To me, it’s a no-brainer that religion and politics should be strictly kept separate.
