South Africa’s an interesting case. It’s only 8% white yet the legacy of the racism and segregation of apartheid still hangs heavy in the air. Can you imagine the outcry amongst certain people in the UK if 8% of the population who happened to be non-white, instituted policies maintaining segregation and racism against whites? Whenever you hear these same people clamouring for non-whites to get out, you never hear them also clamouring for the immigrant whites in South Africa (or anywhere else where they immigrated: i.e. North/South America; Australasia) to get out.

@elriano1 Utter bollocks. South Africa's first known inhabitants have been referred to as the Khoisan, the Khwe and the San. Starting in about 1,000 BCE, these groups were then joined by the Bantu tribes who migrated from Western and Central Africa during what is known as the Bantu expansion. Nice try, though.👍

@GolfWhisky Umm, it could just be that, on average, working class white kids are just lazy gits when it comes to education. Certainly, as someone who spent decades in education, that was my experience. The non-whites (Asians in particular) were on it. The white working class were cocky, arrogant and lazy with zero work ethic in far too many cases. They felt entitled. They felt they didn’t have to work for outcomes.

@elriano1 The first white man to arrive in South Africa was Bartolomeu Dias, from Portugal, circa 1487. The Portuguese would continue to visit but not create settlements. The native Africans were hostile to any endeavors to do so. There were non-whites in South Africa centuries before 1487! Now go away with your sh*tty history and your undisguised agenda. 👍

@iippo06 Not in my case it’s not. I’m centre-left liberal and have zero problem with whites, as long as they’re not racist c*nts. Why would I, being one myself? It would make no sense. It’s not whites per se liberalism has an issue with; it’s a cohort of them (perhaps 10% tops) who disdain other races and particularly others creeds and beliefs but the whole thing melds into just a disdain of ‘The Other’. The ‘funny foreigner’ with a funny name.
