  1. I’m not a vegetarian, but have never eaten octopus. Other fish, yes, but something instinctively told me I shouldn’t really be eating octopus. Then I watched one of the best docs I have ever seen called My Octopus Teacher and my instinct was proved correct. Octopuses are truly, truly stunningly beautiful, wise amazing creatures. 🐙

  9.  @babalonkie  You misunderstood. I meant ‘liable’ in the sense of willingly doing something autonomously rather than being liable for something imposed from the outside. In other words, I’m a great listener, but I won’t necessarily take heed of what you say. 😉

  10.  @babalonkie  You are in a deep contradiction as you say you support the ‘morality’ of veganism/vegetarianism but you don’t think it’s wise. Really? You’re going to actively behave against you sworn ethical standards? Really? Surely if you consider it ‘immoral’ to eat meat, you need to stop eating meat, no? All the things I personally consider ‘immoral’ I tend to refrain from doing: lying, stealing, fighting, eating what I consider animals relatively advanced in terms of cognition and sentience etc. Are you not in conflict with yourself every day if you are eating animals and you consider it immoral, when you can quite easily live without eating them?
