  8.  @F.U.B.A.H.O.R  Just for the record, ‘your people’ is just an accident of birth you had no say in. The Dominican Republic is very ethnically diverse. The majority of the population (around 70 per cent) are of mixed African and European (Spanish) descent, with the remainder black (around 16 per cent) and white (14 per cent). The sooner humanity can get beyond the primitive notion of investing their key identity in a random accident of birth, based on some arbitrary line drawn on a map, (any of us could have been born anywhere), the sooner humanity might evolve.
