  2. Actually, they’re not, in the main. The true Nazis were genuinely motivated by an ideology; most of these 18/19 year-old Russian conscripts are just callow, unwilling non-ideological cannon fodder for the Kremlin, who, in other circumstances, would be at college, or beginning an apprenticeship, like most 18/19 year olds in many other places where they don’t have to unthinkingly fight for a cowardly thug who has never put himself in a front-line to be shot at in his life.
