Thatâs akin to the âshe was asking for itâ argument apropos rape. Surely, itâs the responsibility of the robber not to rob and not the wearer of a watch not to wear that watch. By your logic, anarchy lies, as youâre essentially suggesting itâs the victimâs fault.

They steal watches to sell the crime.

@fredo1070 In many parts of the world, they do. Moreover, again youâre blaming the law-abiding citizen, not the criminal. Youâve got it the wrong way round.

@fredo1070 Uh huh. You descend to political party points scoring and ignore the fact youâre victim blaming. Nice dodge, m8.đ

@fredo1070 Not trolling anyone, m8. Just pointing out your pernicious, dangerous logic.

Er, I think youâll find Aled Jones is a singer who also works as a presenter. You sound like a rather bitter poor person.

It can all be summed up in that most pretentious, wanky, âlook-at-meâ word that became fashionable a couple of decades ago: âdesignerâ. The new one they use to fool us with stuff, well actually 2 new ones, are âbespokeâ and âboutiqueâ. Oh, and âartisanâ. Any time you see these words being used to flog you stuff, you know youâll be paying over the odds.

Dunno. All I know is that if you steal a Rolex and get caught by the fuzz, youâll be doing time.

Really? Do they offer fat transvestites to prisoners these days? Sign of the times.

@sdfilmproductions4193 Lol. I think youâll find Armaniâs pretty âluxuriousâ comparatively, mate! Certainly if weâre talking clothes. Yeah, they might flog watches as well but thatâs on the back of what they are mainly known for. đ¤Łđ I think youâre splitting hairs here.đ Just for the record: Patek charges ÂŁ6.5m for one of his watches; if youâre paying more than, say, about 100 quid for a wristwatch you seriously need your head checking. After that, it becomes about conspicuous consumption, especially when it comes to something with one single very basic function.

@sdfilmproductions4193 Lol. Youâre splitting hairs again. Picking a fight where there isnât one, for some reason. Ok, Patek isnât/wasnât 1 guy, it was 2. And? Iâve just seen one of their used watches for on sale for a million quid. Thatâs a pretty pointless outlay if youâre sane in the brain. And you, dear boy, are living in cloud cuckoo land if you seriously think you canât get a decent wristwatch thatâll last decades for about 100 quid or less. Iâm a case in point; I have a watch Iâve had for about 25 years. A wind-up thingy. Iâve just checked what it currently retails at: 75 quid! Ta da! Now trot on and go and produce some films, or something, cuz yer clearly outta yer depth here, son.đż
