  1. ‘Total victory’? Netanyahu is severely deluded if he thinks this. All this is ultimately futile. Yes, you can physically get rid of those who currently loathe you, but you can’t get rid of the metaphysical ideas that motivated these individuals in the first place and these will just be passed like a baton to the next generation. The amount of bad karmic seeds Israel has sown these past 3 months will torment it for decades to come. As Asimov said: I remember how it was in 1948 when Israel was being established and all my Jewish friends were ecstatic, I was not. I said: what are we doing? We are establishing ourselves in a ghetto, in a small corner of a vast Muslim sea. The Muslims will never forget nor forgive, and Israel, as long as it exists, will be embattled.
