Moreover, let’s just assume for the sake of argument that he/she/it does exist; in this case, my anathema for the sheep mentality of organised religion would still be the same.

  9.  @granted3203  And you’re Muslim because you were taught to be Muslim. If you’d been born and raised in a predominantly Christian family/culture you would be Christian. The vast majority of humans follow the religion they do due to a simple accident of birth and being unable to think for themselves. All organised religion is a manmade edifice quite possibly erected on the basis of nothing.
