  1. Truth is, regardless of the specifics of this given case, the Southport riots were a genuine manifestation of how millions feel in the UK apropos mass immigration. The political class will ignore this at their peril. To put some figures on this, net immigration to the UK in 2023 was 685,000. The UK currently has 67 million. That’s a full 1% of the population immigrating as a proportion in 1 year! No wonder so many people feel like their home is being invaded. Literally.

  2.  @johnbrennan7175 I disagree with the method, but I 100% understand the motivation here. These people aren’t only expressing their anger at this specific incident; they are making the wider point that they’ve had enough of unfettered mass immigration. I say this as someone who is actually pro-immigration; but pro-very strictly controlled targeted immigration. Not just the free for all it appears to be at this point.👍
