No fan of Harry, far from it, but he didn’t choose to be born into the Royal Family, and on that basis he should be afforded security while he’s in the UK.

@Mabooton I still think he’s entitled to paid-for security when he’s in the UK, Mila. I don’t like him, but he didn’t choose to be a Royal; it was a pure accident of birth.

@taffywales2143 Still disagree. He didn’t choose to be a Royal; that is the essential point, so on that basis I think it’s actually morally wrong for the UK not to provide his security cover in the UK when he’s here for stuff like weddings/coronations/deaths etc. If he’s anywhere else, then I agree that he should pay for it himself.
