Even if the YES side had won, we'd still be called racists and asked to make more & more concessions in the future.

  6. Our electoral system is a scam where we participate in the illusion of choice between two major parties, who are essentially a single uniparty. Vote for a smaller party or independent? Well guess what, when they inevitably don't win, your vote goes to the one of the major parties under the preference system.
