the original Turks were very asiatic looking, like chinese. but over time they had kids with the western caucasian Anatolian women so much that the faces and looks changed very much. Turks are from central asia. Not from anatolia. They were not originally caucasian. the ones still there in Turkish lands of central asia and western china are asiatic looking. And thelands conquered by the Turks wer not emptied of people. they mixed with them and over the centuries lost a lot of thier asiatic facial features. books and art were illustrated by Ottoman empire artists . so those are turkish depictions of turks ( asiatics).
