So here's a legal scenario, for you. There is a hit and run accident today, January 18th in a city on Florida's East Coast. The police investigate but can't find the suspect until they get a person who saw it, come forth on Thursday, and they figure out who it was that drove the car by a camera near a red light. So, they go out and charge the man and arrest him. So, obviously this man is liable for a law he broke on Monday and just because he was President on Monday cannot possibly mean he is exempt from prosecution. Those who wonder why they can have a Senate trial, should comprehend this scenario and actually, they should be able to charge Trump for ever law he broke, if there is no statute of limitations. All you legal beagles, please come forth and explain why this can or cannot happen?
