I am so god damn proud of the Ukrainians. They rebuilt their army with a hybrid doctrine, this is their victory through and through. I hear way too much "NATO this NATO that" as if NATO is the ONLY reason they are doing this will. It's not and this is a magnificent victory for Ukraine. I mean, it's 3 days later and even Twitter map updates can't keep up, this video is already ancient history. It's very foggy at the moment but we're seeing Ukrainian units where they can't possibly have got to yet except in one scenario, a total collapse of the LNR held front. And that's it for supply routes, they have I think one railhead left? And their Northern flank is now utterly exposed, they might be able to roll up the whole Eastern front. And that's it, it's over, Russia is a surrounded pocket of troops North of Crimea.

It seems to me, and this is just my interpretation, is that there were multiple stages to the "setup" for the attack. They started off with MLRS attacks on Logistics, C&C and, critically, plinked at Crimea. Russia seems to have responded in exactly the way intended, they pulled back their large A2AD systems and their accompanying SHORADS (Buk, tor, etc) Only then did they attack the bridges, stranding A2AD over the radar horizon. Then they appear to have "mopped up" with HARM attacks. This appears to have given Ukraine regional air superiority over the Kherson Oblast. I personally think this was a deliberate strategy by Ukraine and I'm very impressed. Opinions?

Further thoughts: We live on a ball, this enables the concept of "flying inter the radar" I think that, after Russian air defense was stranded on the East Bank, the AFU then started SEAD sorties with HARM missiles. So, they cleared out a small chunk of no air defense over Kherson, but how do you get drones out over the Dnipro? You fly up into the radar of buk, tor and as400 while over the river and let off your HARMs. Now you've cleared even more air space and your TB2s can roam over the river felt, sinking ferries by calling in very long range NATO Artillery.

@shamil14basaev88 It is and it isn't. It is over because their army is smashed, all the best troops and gear is gone. It's not because there still teens of thousands of soldiers left dug in and it'll be a hard slog to rout them. But yeah, fantastic job, magnificent strategy mercilessly completed. God damn heroes.
