By putting green troops, currently 75% of their armed forces, into close defensive situations like Bakhmut your blooding all those new units. You quickly cycle them in and out and now every soldier has months of experience rather than the elite troops only getting slightly more experience. Now every Ukrainian soldier in that 1,000,000 men and women are battle tested and hardened. Russia's gonna think it's been fucked by a train.

@Mark Branham They're killing the enemy, crushing their morale and getting experienced troops in return. How exactly are they fucked? Bear in mind that if they weren't fighting them in Bakhmut they'd just be fighting them one city over.

20:00 Not only that, Ukraine has been doing really well destroying days Russian logistics trucks, at least a dozen every day. That's at least 80 trucks a week!
