  8. It's not because they were foreign systems, they said they're going to investigate wheeled autocannons so they'll probably get some foreign examples in. But it's the US army. They'll investigate it, they'll shoot them, the war in Ukraine will end, they'll lose interest and pay somebody to paint snarling lion faces on the M109s. And buy 5 of those 150km uber-shells, that's 5 for the Army and a photograph of one for the marines.

  11. ​ @dianapennepacker6854  The real takeaway from this war is 1) Russia is gone. They're literally nothing and never will be ever again, they can't even deal with a nation with almost no air force. 2) All of NATO is dangerously exposed with regards to suicide drones. 3) You need to harden GPS so if can't be spoofed. Forget this WW1 reenactment. It's an edge case. The only threat is China and they will bury you in drones. Solve the drone problem. Fix GPS. If you have to, launch a military only GPS system, no public access, no public documentation, very classified. Just add a 'MilGPS' transceiver and clock to every military satellite you launch. Or just add a separate system to each new GPS and Galileo satellite launched. Or have it added to starlink.
