  1. ​ @Dingusdoofus  NLAW is not a tandem HEAT, it's an overfly top attack EFP (Explosively Formed Penetrator) Coped up tanks stand no chance because: 1) the heavy Tantalum EFP goes through even proper armour like tinfoil, mild steel bar armour may add will not exist. 2) Bar armour is designed to trick the stand off fuze of heat Warheads to fitting early. NLAW is magnatometer driven. 3) even if there's multiple layers of ERA between the tank and the NLAW, EFPs don't need a tandem charge as they rely purely on brute force. Dense tantalum slug going Mach 3 does not get deflected by ERA because ERA is pretty drained to disperse a high pressure liquid copper jet. It's like putting your finger over the end of the hose, you can turn deflect the water jet. The slug would need more of a baseball bat to deflect it

  2. If your frontal armour has been penetrated and you DON'T have the engine there, the crew dies instead of the tank. So who cares if it increases mobility kill frequency? There's no point in a functional tank if the crew is dead!
