On the NATO bit at the end. If the choice is between Ukraine joining NATO and Ukraine keeping a nuclear deterrent, it's NATO every time. Surely you can see that? They can't secure then, they can't maintain them and do they even have the knowledge to train soldiers to use them? Like, literally the manual? Do you really think soviet Russia should let Ukraine have all of this? No, NATO membership is a much better deterrent. You can't fix Russia, but you can at least contain them.
