  3. I've always wondered this about tanks. They have these ridiculous ranges of 300km or so. They must have to follow them with a gas station. And it must be so easy to fuck that up. Blow up one tanker that's several tanks that just stop moving and you're down a tanker truck. One guy and an RPG can do that. Or a landmine planted in the night. Or a civilian with am IED. You can't guard the whole road over night ... What is even the point of tanks in this case? Why even bother with them, what even is the military advantage they give you? The gun is mostly an anti-tank weapon so useless, if you need anti fortification I bet there's something better and lighter and cheaper. Take that away it's a very very expensive and dangerous way to transport a light and a heavy machine gun. Right? I just don't see what they have tanks for.
