I think a really smart lawyer could make a charge of Treason stick over this. Undermining the country and treating the citizens like CRIMINALs when they take offense, that is Treason.

@karlblak7500 I think you didn't read that OP. Anything WEST of Ontario, doesn't matter how you vote. The numbers make no difference going up against the big cities in Quebec and Ontario. I honestly think it's PAST TIME for the West to take our crayons and make our own club.

@karlblak7500 I think I need to do a video about this ;) There is so much at play that most people don't know. JT's 'father', Pierre, once flipped the bird to protestors in BC 'back in the day'. He didn't care what anyone in the West thought about anything as he knew the East would do what he wanted. We've always been Peasants, just working too hard to see it (and we got lots of shiny toys and beer and gladiator sports). The 'Reform' party was an Alberta grassroots attempt to have some voice in Ottawa, but at the end they sold out like the rest of them and started carving us up and serving us on a platter. We have fees out our ears. And they tax us on the fees many times. The West needs to WAKE UP and make their own country before this goes too far. We should have done it in the '80's. Oh, and the reason we got JT is Harper was just as bad in a different way. He threw out decades of scientific research in 'budget cuts'. Libraries around the world were crying to give the data a home, but they carted a lot of it to the dump. Some librarians managed to save some of it. So by the time shiny faced JT with the nice pedigree showed up, there was an 'anyone but Harper' meme going on. And here we are today.

@karlblak7500 all these things are true, except.. 'being passive on matters such as this'?? What are you talking about? Maybe the idiots in the cities are like that, you've obviously never been to rural Canada. At any rate, the system has been rigged from the start. And as I said before, it doesn't matter WHO you vote for from Manitoba to BC, the big cities and Quebec and Ontario outnumber us and we can't make a change. I'm not certain why our parents thought that was ok, as nobody in the West has a voice AT ALL.

Maybe we need to band together and make a 'New Canada' enclave somewhere. These past two years have been hell. I've not been able to go back to Canada and now I'm thankful. But I'm surviving on so little $$ per month, I can't afford to renew my passport. Now it looks like maybe I don't want a Canadian passport, but that means I'm kind of stateless right now. Such a tumultuous time and no idea which is the right direction to go. Many people have taken up drinking over this stuff. I can do that for a day or two, then it gets boring. So. I guess we need to figure it out. Does anyone know if I showed up at Mexican border, would they let me in?
