As a wage slave from Canada, I don't think you understand how much of our income goes to just covering heat and food, the basics. Nobody freezes to death in Latin America. There is a huge class divide in Canada, too. Those that got into government jobs, and the rest of the population. It's so highly competitive, almost impossible to get a job, especially if you're not 'woke' or say the wrong thing (and don't even know what you said.) I'm Gen X and just breathing seems to offend the Millennials and Gen Z'ers.

@brendan1675 I was never ok. I always had to have roommates and food scarcity has been a thing since I was 8 years old. I was raised in a shack with holes in the floor and no central heat. We slept with coats on the bed. It doesn't matter if you don't have to pay tax if you don't make enough to survive. Rents in Canada take 2/3rds of your income. Rest goes to pay the bills and maybe some food. I went to college, I'm an extremely creative programmer, however nobody will hire you if you don't fit the box they are trying to fill. You can't see a person when you apply for a job, just an anonymous listing on some job board you hope isn't just trying to steal your info and you never hear back anyways. But, that is just MY experience as an underprivileged Canadian. Everywhere I lived that was nice, we were forced out by rich people moving in.

@gronig6pat833 exactly. I've been hearing Canadians couldn't vote in teh last election if they weren't jabbed because the polling stations were in locations where it was REQUIRED. So they wouldn't let CITIZENS in to vote! That is criminal.

@gronig6pat833 no, I'm not wrong. Polls that were held on University campuses where people were required to be vaccinated, would not let anyone enter if they were not jabbed. Therefore they were denied their right to vote.
