  1. I’ve been trying to play devils advocate with the whole Palestine/Israel conflict. Understanding it from both sides. Israel’s heavy handed approach and disregard for Palestinian rights is cruel and overbearing. But they’re a people who are paranoid as fook. And with good reason. Imagine being a ethnic group persecuted for centuries, almost obliterated from Europe in concentration camps. To then be offered a secure homeland and territory in Palestine. And then have the Palestinians kick off as they were promised an Arab state. Have all diplomatic efforts to settle territorial disputes fail and then have to go to war. If you were a Jew, would you want to be exiled from this homeland to go back to Europe?? A place where your relatives were persecuted and mass murdered??
