  1.  @HISMAJESTYSHANDLE  German shepherds are definitely not gentle. They are one of the most stand offish breeds out there. Extremely untrusting and nervous of new people just like rotties. Way worse temperament than any bully breed.

  2.  @HISMAJESTYSHANDLE  Had a couple of friends who owned them. They bark at everyone and everything that gets within a few metres of house. Jump up to knock u out of the way in a display of dominance. Had one growl and snarl at me when I knocked on one friends door. Just nasty natured dogs. Met one that was fairly soft. Compare that to Staffies, the majority are incredibly friendly towards people. Slober all over you. No real guard instinct. Met one mean one and it was owned by my weed dealer who was a dodgy chap anyway.

  3. I have my xl bully and pitbull cross as guard dogs. Have a partner and a toddler at home. They even growl when postman tries to post letters. I know people would be too intimidated to misbehave with these 2 around.

  5.  @Scarycats234  Granted they don’t have the ferocity of a Pitbull or Xl bullies. But then neither do staffies. If we’re talking about potential to bite as apposed to fatal attacks, then GS is probably up there. I mean, it’s a well known fact they have a strong protector/guarding instinct and they’re pretty fearless.

  6.  @Scarycats234  Well my original point was that staffies shouldn’t be banned. That there shouldn’t be an all bully ban basically. I don’t think GS are worse than some xl pitbull type. And they don’t have that ferocity in attack. But they do account for a lot of bites. And they are stand offish in temperament. Google it. I honestly agree with the last thing you said. I think we need to license these xl bully breeds. Make sure they have responsible owners. Mandatory training classes. Harsh fines for unregistered dogs. Prohibiting them just makes a black market for chavs to breed on the sly.
