  1. Ukrainian economy is a basket case with dilapidated infrastructure and ruined industry. Russians will respond only if Ukrainian regime attacks regions that freed themselves from Ukrainian occupation. Putin is not an idiot to sustain a country that still has 20 million of extremely poor population (millions already left) after 30 years of mismanagement. US and EU broke it, so they should bear this burden.
