  5.  @dao8805  As far as education goes, we taxpayers (primarily property tax) pay for 13 years of government education for children. These are adults. If they decide to take out a loan to study nonsense then it is their fault they owe that money. I didn't go to college. I married young, worked hard at minimum wage jobs, bettered myself through experience, and now have my house paid off. Odd how common sense overrides education at every possible metric. Why can't they pay their loans? If they studied medicine or physics or mechanics or chemistry they would all have high-paying jobs. How many "gender studies" majors do we need?
