@MemoirsofaBasketcase Here is one example of government making things more expensive. The cost per student in Chicago Government (Public) school, where I live, is $29,307 each a year. Most of the students are illiterate and when they leave school they cannot or will not find work. Will making the successful pay even more to live here help anyone but the Teachers Union?

@rachelk4805 I live on the Southside of Chicago. Is that "RED"? Because the crime rate here is the highest since I was a kid in the 1970s. $15.50 is the minimum wage here.

Lack of morals, not lack of money, is what is making all of these young people abort their babies and transition their gender making them sterile. They don't want to work, they want to "blame the rich".

@Nagroddy I am guessing you are still a child? I began working while in High School. I worked full time after, for minimum wage. I married at 22. I had a dumpy apartment but it was cheap. We had a baby when we were 23. I bettered myself with a better job, and then studied to be a truck driver. I got my license. I got a better job. I has insurance through work which I paid for, I did not have "the community" pay for our baby. I did well in High School, but I am no genius. I am disciplined, thrifty and hard working and responsible. I now own my own home. I still am not able to put 17k away a year I don't know where you get the fantasy that you will make 100k a year at an entry level job. You need to grow up and take life by the reigns, not blame "corporations". Time to grow up kid. You can do it if I did. "35-40 hour week_? Wow. I currently work 50 minimum. You need to put the phone down and act like an adult. Do you want a family or do you kids no longer care about that, with abortion and gender choice (LOL) now commonalities amongst your generation?

@acphantom6437 I pay 600$ a month in property taxes for a modest home in a rough neighborhood. Rising cost of government is the problem. Have you ever tried to run a business? Maybe you should open a business and see that it isn't so easy. Propagandists from government place the blame on "the top". Democrats are becoming Communists.

@karlabritfeld7104 Rental units also pay property tax. It's figured into the rent. Maybe don't waste money on concerts and games and tattoos and vapes and fast food.
