  1. Public Sector. They can't be sacked unless they commit crime during work hours. And even then it has to be noticed. And even then it has to go to court. And even then there has to be a guilty verdict. And even then it comes down to surnames and connections. Plus ça change - as the overwhelmingly europhile public sector might say. Now look at France. Is that a nation at ease with itself? It is not.
