  3. I agree on the comfort, being older, 64, with foot and ankle injury from my younger days triggered some arthritis and it seems steel toe shoes just terrible for that.

  8. I am always tempted to put K&N air filter, I use their oil filter, but never been willing to pay the price. This will make the choice easier.

  9. Thread inserts are the best for high pressure and high heat application. I repaired stripped cylinder head bolts using Time Sert. Perfect application and the kit has all the needed tools and inserts. The inserts are steel also so when torquing the head bolts to rediculous levels it doesn't strip. All other methods are for light load stuff.

  10. A little of the subject. Can anyone tell me what I am supposed to do with burnt out or none working tools? I have some that just don't work or the battery is too old and wouldn't charge and not made so I can't replace them. I don't want to toss them in the trash and end up in the land fill. Recycling places don't take power tools.

  11. First, it's absolutely worth fixing it up and give it a good refresh. I did the same on a 2003 Honda Pilot for my brother, $700 in parts and my time was free. Second, the pace is fine, it's not a how to video.

  12. Excellent testing however I think you needed one test done. The 30 inch drop WITHOUT a lid. I ran into several occasions where the cup falls off the counter empty, like after I wash it. It's almost always the cup hits the tile floor with the edge and almost always the edge gets out of round a bit, like 1 mm or so. You can still put the lid back on, but tilting the cup will spill the drink. It depends on the strength of the material not to bend and the fact that the list is not providing initial shock absorption.

  15. My advice is to clean it well and paint it. That's what I did and it will last a lot longer than those cleaners.

  16. Liquid Plumber has been good for me. It's always hair in the sink. My method is let the clog slowly drain, don't rush it. Then add little water till it begin to backup, stop, add the liquid plumber, gel is best, let it sit for an hour, run water while plunging it down.

  17. Thank you thank you thank you. I need to find studs and it's been a terrible experience. Seems the good ones are overpriced and the cheaper ones leave me with holes in the wall. I am buying the Tacklife, more than I need but the extra features don't hurt for the price.

  25. I guess the moral of the tests it all depends on what your intended use. If you want to fix a plastic bumper you say not care about pressure, if you want to plug a leaking water like you do care.

  27. Bought a set of tires and drove them home and ran right over a roofing nail. I didn't have road hazard warranty. Had the tire repaired but still had a small leak somewhere. Use Slime and that fixed it. That was in 2016 and still no leaks or issues. Note, I had to rebalance the wheel.

  29. Bruan coffee maker died in about 18 months, I couldn't get customer support. So I still use it but I pour the building water over the coffee manually 😂. I am not throwing it out yet, not to mention I hate trowimg in trash since there's no good way to recycle

  30. I agree with you on cordless except for certain situations. I had to get a cheap harbor freight corded drill to drill into an aluminum engine block. Uncorded drills I tried would not do it. The clutch stops it in it's track as soon as the going gets tough no matter what setting I used. I would imagine the same for concrete and other dense material.

  32. From my experience, the metal ones are junk because you can't drive on them. The front of the car keeps pushing them and they slide unless you have super rough surface. Got rid of mine and got the plastic one from AutoZone. I got the ones with extended ramp. They don't slip hardly. The best way to drive on them is to place them in front of the wheels about6 inches away, then drive on them. It's like taking a running start and the momentum keeps you going. Putting them up against the tire will most likely make them slip and fly under.

  33. Rubberized coating traps rust and does nothing no matter the brand. Also good luck taking off bolts, nuts, screws and electrical connectors with rubberized coating over them.

  34. I have the Pittsburg creeper, I like it and works well except when the floor is not even or has a slight grading. This makes it, and any other creeper, impossible to use and they keep rolling down and away from the work area. I find myself trying to hold in to something to anchor it 😂. I wish there is a brake type on any of them to lock the wheels on one side in place.
