  1. The voice of sanity speaks! Well said. Many here and elsewhere seem to think the inhabitants of the barge somehow infected the water themselves in order to get better accommodation. How can anyone deal with this level of insanity?

  3. Poorly maintained water supply. It’s NOT possible to transport legionaries disease around in your back pocket. You’ve seen how little the government maintains the NHS for actual citizens, it’s no stretch to think they are even worse with refugees.

  5.  @MsBimbobear yes. Well countries and city states, historically. Ottoman Turkey, Mughal India and Abassid Baghdad were hugely multicultural and multi faith centres. Before that, Rome. The idea of stopping people from entering is a relatively new one and seems confined to certain countries/groups.

  14. Anyone illegal is deported. No country keeps illegals and therefore there is no housing for them, hence the tents. These people however are not deemed to be illegal, yet at least.
