  4.  @lellyparker  nicotine is very addictive but in of itself is nowhere near as harmful as sugar. Sugar addiction also has a palpable drain on NHS services believe it or not

  5.  @lellyparker  there’s an addictive element to a substance and then there the harmful element. Nicotine and heroin are equally addictive but not equally harmful

  6.  @lellyparker  right but that argument can be made on any number of things. For example gambling. Highly addictive for many. Destroys families. Rarely benefits anyone except the big companies. It’s a really slippery slope and health is a really good way of making distinctions of what to ban and what not to ban as we all pay for health through tax
