@weepair2 Lived in 3 countries in Europe for over 30 years. I believe the US was created to exploit 'the people' since it's inception by big money, private banks and what suits them best to profit.
We've never had a government since 1913 that wanted anything that actually considered the welfare of their citizens other than to profit and create more and more debt and lower wages from them.... we have always been debt and labor cows for 250 years, programmed to stay ignorant, insular and to simply swallow what they deign to give... like the choice between 300 different shampoos... all owned by the same monopoly. 🧐
It's made us weak, complacent and compliant because we have never been surrounded by other countries with different ways doing and thinking to know as most Europeans do, that war is bad, fascism destroys freedom and 'different' is often an example of what not to do, but that we are all members of the family of man even tho we speak different languages, eat different foods. Sadly you've lately been infiltrated by the nation destroyers just as we have and you should know better, you can't claim the same ignorance that Americans can you know.
Americans don't know these things because of their isolation from the rest of the world and why we accept the government destroying other democratically elected leaders, their countries and millions of people as if it's nothing, because so far it has never touched them... except that now our government is using those same tactics on it's own citizens and why so many haven't even grasped that sad fact yet. At least the Russians knew that Pravda was dishing out nothing but propaganda... too many in the US still haven't figured that out yet. 🐒

@deeziebaby Let's not forget that everybody in America Was An Immigrant, even the native Americans. Time and patience worked for a very long time, in 1 or 2 generations they integrated. Each wave were the victims of prejudice, this is nothing new; Spics, paddies, chinks, wops, rag heads and the Nword etc etc. The solution to that is simply to extend a hand of welcome instead of you being put off by their 'differences'. Normal people are the same all over the world, they just want the safety to have a job, roof, food on the table and a better life for their kids.
But we have to remember that this a big country and not everybody has the situation that cities have right now (especially in the swing states apparently), at least that used to be the case until Biden's minders decided to open the floodgates to ANYBODY so that they'll vote for the Democrats and gave them carte blanche + cash and to promote the destabilization and lower wages in the country. 🤔
These are perilous times Deezie, our own government is at war against us. 😟

Because they've either never traveled, think it will be easier to keep clean (not) or that's all they see being pushed by interior designers... and frankly most people are sheep and think they have to follow 'trends' because they have no taste or style of their own.
For example I lived in Italy for 25 years, when I first got there pointy witches toe shoes were all the rage... thank god that finally ended, then the last 15 years everything was grey inside and out, tile, paint, furniture... but in northern Italy it's grey all winter long, why the hell would you want that in your home on a cold, freezing winter night???!! Actually the Italians (not all but most of the youngsters) are worse at following trends than Americans are, it's just dumb. Baa.
Be yourself and embrace what makes you happy in your nest, and your job as a future Interior Designer is to lead them to the warmth of an eclectic interior with some character that doesn't look like they could efficiently dissect a neighbor on their kitchen island. 🤣
