Anyone see the reports that infrastructure such as many bridges and car parks won't be able to cope with the extra weight of electric cars!!! They are on average around 40% heavier than the equivalent petrol/diesels models. Just think of all the fossil fuels burned to rebuild/strengthen them.

Alan Lovell from the UK Environment Agency said just last week "...road run-off from tyres – water containing pollution that runs off the tarmac – had a significant negative impact on pollution in the UK's waterways.... People are worried about tyres now, and electric vehicles, ironically, are worse for that because of their weight"
