@SuperScarab you are talking the mk 2 ? Mk1 hasn't even been built and you are going on about the mk 2 ? Why not talk about the 10th gen ?

@direwolf7491 didn't you also say how great the Tejas was and there was loads of orders for the Tejas ? What happened ? The AMCA is a 4.5 Gen...even HAL admitted it. You don't have the tech and unless the US gives you the tech, you need to spend years and billions developing it. It isn't an off the shelf tech like the Tejas.

@direwolf7491 what a load of balls... noone outside India wants the Tejas, despite India trying its best to flog the 40 year old plane. HAL will be making the AMCA.....ADA and HAL will co develope the AMCA. The AMCA is only in the design phase and already you are declaring it the best GEN 5 ever. 1st it has already been ackonwledge not to be Gen 5, only Gen 4.5 at best. 2nd you don't have the technology, that is why ADA has been drafted in to co develop. This isn't off the shelf parts you can procure, the tech has to be developed. Tejas took 40 years and noone outside India wants it. How long do you think it will take for the AMCA ? You have no working prototype, heck even the desgn hasn't been confirmed yet. STFU cos you are a joke.

@vivekv5194 Tejas took 40 years....design hasn't been confirmed. Wind tunnel models has to be tested either by mock up or computers. This isn't something that can be completed in a few years. You don't have cutting edge technology so you will need to develop the tech needed. How many projects has been given and how many has failed to even take off ? Shout when you have a working prototype not when you just has a list of wants on paper.
