  2. I'm Turkish. Turkish people are very aware of the immigration crisis. And most are very populist. Religious part and secularists have one thing in common here: Protecting the Turkish culture. Just difference in how. Religous thinks since Syrians are muslims, they should be treated as family but secularists think that's ridiculous. Rightly so. One thing to know about Muslims: It doesn't matter who or where they are, they put their religion literally above everything. Saying this as an exmuslim.
